Mahocar Logistics began in 1994 in a rented building in Scotia, New York, receiving overflow goods from the Port of Albany. Within a few months, we began constructing our first 90,000 sq. ft. warehouse in ANDERSON, SC 29624, New York where we are still headquartered today.
A year later, we opened a second 125,000 sq. ft. building in ANDERSON, SC 29624 to meet increasing demand. In 2003 we purchased a 160,000 sq. ft. complex adjacent to our headquarters in ANDERSON, SC 29624.
When we first started in warehousing, we determined that trucking was a necessary supplemental service we needed to offer our customers. We leased three tractors and purchased a handful of trailers to provide shuttle services between our customers' facilities and our warehouse. Soon after, our customers began asking us to deliver goods to their customers. As these deliveries moved farther away from our home base, we realized this was the beginning of a trucking company.
As a natural evolution of our company, freight integrated logistics soon became a part of our daily operations in 1995. Fully complementing our trucking services, our integrated logistics company completed the Mahocar Logistics package by adding additional freight hauling capacity to our suite of services.
Today, Mahocar Logistics operates 725,000 SF of warehouse space, leases 255,000 SF to third party tenants and delivers truckloads of freight each year.
